2023 MLB Sunday Leadoff Schedule On Peacock Includes Dodgers-Rays Game

NBC Sports announced the 2023 MLB Sunday Leadoff schedule for Peacock, which includes the Los Angeles Dodgers facing the Tampa Bay Rays on May 28.

The Dodgers will be streamed exclusively on Peacock for that game, with the first pitch at Tropicana Field scheduled for 8:35 a.m. PT.

Last season, which was the first year of MLB’s agreement to stream games on Peacock, the Dodgers’ matchup against the Miami Marlins was called by Jason Benetti, Tommy Hutton and Gabby Sanchez.

With the early and rare start time in their previous Peacock matchup, Mookie Betts put an emphasis on setting the tone, and he will surely look to do that again this season.

MLB Sunday Leadoff, which is Peacock’s exclusive package of Sunday morning Major League Baseball games, will feature 19 live games from April 23-September 3, all produced by NBC Sports and featuring a pre- and post-game show on the streaming service.

On each of the 19 Sundays that Peacock presents a game, it will be scheduled as the exclusive home of live MLB action until 10:35 a.m. that day, when the remainder of the day’s schedule will begin. The package will include start times of 8:35 a.m. (six games), 9:05 a.m. (10 games), and 10:05 a.m. (three games).

“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Major League Baseball and build upon last season’s MLB Sunday Leadoff success,” president of programming for NBC Sports and Peacock Sports Rick Cordella said in a statement.

“The exclusive presentation of MLB games in a unique Sunday morning time slot, which caters to baseball fans and families alike, continues to make Peacock the go-to streaming destination for sports fans.”
